Terms of Service
These terms set out the contract for using this website and purchasing digital educational services.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Philipp Knobelspies (Sole Trader) trading as WISO Prep. Contact details and business information are published on the Legal Notice page.
Contract language: English.
2. Service overview
WISO Prep provides digital educational content, including practice tests, performance data, and related learning tools. No physical goods are shipped. We are not affiliated with WU Vienna and operate solely as an independent preparation service for admissions test readiness.
3. Accounts and access
You are responsible for maintaining account security and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate registration details and keep login credentials confidential.
Access may be limited or suspended for abuse, fraud, payment issues, or violations of these terms.
4. Pricing and payment
Purchases are processed through Stripe. Prices are shown before checkout confirmation. Where applicable, taxes are shown at checkout. You authorize us to charge the selected amount when placing an order.
There are no delivery costs for physical shipping because the service is fully digital. You are responsible for your own internet/data access costs.
5. How contracts are formed
- You select packages and quantities and review your order summary.
- You can change cart quantities or remove items before payment.
- You confirm required legal acknowledgements and proceed to Stripe checkout.
- Your order is accepted when payment succeeds and we send on-screen and/or email confirmation.
6. Performance timing
Digital access is typically provided immediately after successful payment confirmation. Temporary delays may occur for fraud or payment verification checks.
7. Digital supply and cancellation rights
Under UK consumer law, you usually have a 14-day cancellation period for distance contracts. For digital content supplied immediately, you expressly request immediate supply and acknowledge that your right to cancel is lost once supply begins.
This acknowledgement is collected during checkout. Full details are in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
We also include confirmation details in your purchase confirmation message.
8. Faulty digital content and statutory rights
Nothing in these terms excludes statutory consumer rights. If digital content is faulty, not as described, or not provided with reasonable care and skill, you may be entitled to remedies under applicable consumer law.
9. Acceptable use
You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or misuse platform content, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with normal service operation.
10. Intellectual property
All platform content, software, branding, and materials are owned by or licensed to us. You receive a limited personal, non-transferable right to use purchased content for your own learning.
11. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided on an as-available basis. We do not guarantee specific exam outcomes. To the extent allowed by law, liability for non-mandatory claims is limited to the amount paid for the relevant purchase.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other rights protected by law.
12. Complaints and dispute handling
If you have a complaint, contact us first at hello@wu-aufnahmetest.com with your account email, order reference, and issue details. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
We are not currently signed up to a mandatory alternative dispute-resolution scheme, but we will review all complaints in good faith.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, mandatory protections in your country of residence remain unaffected.
